Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Koval had a meeting on October 31, 2012 with Mr. Ivan Caracalla, Director of the “Caracalla” Dance Theatre, famous in Lebanon.

The Lebanese counterpart told to the Ambassador of Ukraine about his visit to Ukraine, meeting with a vice minister of culture of Ukraine, artists of the National Opera of Ukraine, Veryovka Academic Folk Choir, P. Virsky Dance Company, other Ukrainian professional artistic teams. He invited a group of Ukrainian artists to dance in his theatre.

Volodymyr Koval asked I. Caracalla to assist in organization of joint Ukrainian-Lebanese concert in the UNESCO Palace in Beirut on December 12, 2012 on occasion of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment between two countries.

Ivan Caracalla also informed that participation of Ukrainian artistic teams in the Beiteddin Annual Art Festival in Lebanonwas considered.

During the meeting the issue was also brought up about participation of Ivan Caracalla and his theater in organization of the Days of Ukrainian Culture in Lebanonin 2013.
