Ukrainewith great anxiety observes escalation of violence in the Arab Republic of Syria. Such violence threats to convert into full-scale civil war with unpredicted consequences for all the Middle East region.

Being against external intervention into internal affairs of Syria, Ukraine supports renovation of activities in Syriaof the observers mission from the League of Arab States.

We claim all the sides of internal Syrian conflict to stop violence and to initiate a dialogue for the purpose of search for mutually acceptale and efficient ways of resolution of existing contradictions.

Meanwhile, Ukraineexpects from the Syrian government for urgent implementation of political reforms, in particular holding the national referendum on a draft of a new constitution and formation of a coalition government taking into account interests of all Syrian political forces.
