On May 29, 2012 the Ambassador of Ukraine in Beirut Volodymyr Koval met with the Minister of Energy and Water of Lebanon Gebran Bassil.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss terms and basic parameters of the visit of Minister Gebran Bassil to Ukraine on the invitation of Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Iurii Boyko. The visit is planned for the first half of 2012.

The two sides reviewed the issues of development of cooperation between the two countries in spheres of energy, water and sources of renewable energy.
