On June 5, 2012 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Lebanese Republic Volodymyr Koval took part in the official presentation of the national report prepared for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (“Rio+20”).

President of Lebanon Michel Sleiman addressed the audience.

Attending the event was Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Lebanese government officials, members of parliament and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Beirut.

The “Rio+20” Conference in which a Ukrainian delegation will also participate, will take place on June 20–22, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro.
