On September 21, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon Volodymyr Koval had a meeting with the Minister of Transport and Public Works of Lebanon Ghazi Aridi.

Volodymyr Koval briefed Ghazi Aridi on the present state and prospects of development of Ukrainian-Lebanese trade and economic cooperation.

The Lebanese Minister was informed in more details about Ukraine’s industrial potential in aircraft- and ship-building, as well as in manufacturing of passenger buses and trucks.

The two sides also discussed the issues of Ukraine’s possible participation in the international tender on supply of Ukrainian passenger buses for public transportation in Lebanon.

Ghazi Aridi voiced his willingness to travel to Ukraine on a working tour in mid November to familiarize with production of Ukrainian Bohdan buses and KRAZ trucks.
