Ukrainian Culture Days took place in the Lebanese Republic

Ukrainian Culture Days in Lebanon closed on April 19, 2013. This is the first official event of such scale in the Middle East. During Ukrainian Culture Days the concerts of dance and choir groups of the Veryovka National Academic Folk Chorus of Ukraine and the ballet group of the Taras Schevchenko National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine took place in famous Beirut “Caracalla” Dance Theatre, as well as exhibition of photos-paintings “Ukraine Today”.
The concerts of worldwide known Ukrainian Groups had a warm welcome by the Lebanese audience and the Ukrainian community in Lebanon. The performances were attended by Lebanese leadership, ministers, MPs, figures of science and art, businessmen, generals, representatives of diplomatic corps.
In accordance with accords reached between the Heads of Governments of Ukraine and Lebanon, in 2014 the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine will host Lebanese Culture Days.
