The official opening of the Ukrainian culture days in Lebanon took place

Official opening of the Days of Culture of Ukraine in the LebaneseRepublic took place in the “Caracalla” Dance Theatre on April 17, 2013. At the opening ceremony greeting speeches were made by Mr. Michel de Chaderevain, Assistant of the Minister of Culture of Lebanon, Mr. Tymofiy Kohan, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Mr. Volodymyr Koval, Ambassador of Ukraine to the LebaneseRepublic.
Days of Culture of Ukraine begun by show of actors of the Veryovka National Academic Folk Chorus and the ballet group of the Taras Schevchenko National Opera of Ukraine.
The concert was attended by representatives of high state authorities, members of the government, deputies of the parliament of Lebanon, people of science and art, businessmen, generals, clergy, representatives of the Ukrainian community of Lebanon.
Exhibition of photos and paintings “Ukraine today” is being demonstrated in the lobby of the “Caracalla” Theatre during the Days of Culture of Ukraine on April 16–19, 2013.
