On February 25, 2021, in the frame of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian writer Lesya Ukrainka, the Embassy of Ukraine in Lebanon held a video conference with the presentation of the translated to the Arabic book “Lesya Ukrainka. Prose works (1) ».

The event was attended by Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon Ihor Ostash, Member of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Ukrainians Yaroslava Khortyani, Chairman of the “Ukrainians of Lebanon” Iryna Zharamani, Director of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations Iryna Klyuchkovska , writer and translator Imadeddin Raef, senior researcher at the Asia-Pacific Department of the Institute of Oriental Studies Olena Ogneva, Ukrainian language teacher in Lebanon Iryna Tymofiyiva and her students, Ukrainians of Lebanon, connoisseurs of Lesya's word Participants' speeches were accompanied by reading poetry and prose of Lesya Ukrainka.
