Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Koval had a meeting with Minister of Economy and Trade of Lebanon Nicolas Nahas on September 21, 2012.

Condition of fulfilment of decisions of the Intergovernmental Lebanese-Ukrainian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was discussed during the meeting. The Sides agreed about effectiveness of the abovementioned format of intergovernmental interaction and approved holding of next (Third) Session of the Commission in November, 2012 in Kyiv.

Also other important issues of bilateral cooperation were touched upon during the meeting, in particular in the field of agriculture.

The counterparts appreciated maintenance of positive trend of annual increase of commodity circulation between two countries.
