A meeting between the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lebanon Volodymyr Koval and the Head of Administration of the National Council for Scientific Research Georges Tohme took place on September 11, 2012.

The goal of the meeting was the establishment of scientific and technical cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Lebanon.
Professor Volodymyr Koval familiarized managers of the Council with the level of development of science and technology in Ukraine and the structure of organization of scientific and technical research.

The Sides agreed to sign a Memorandum on Mutual Understanding between the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatics of Ukraine and the National Council on Scientific Research of Lebanon in the nearest time.
