Meeting between Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lebanon Volodymyr Koval and Mr. Ivan Caracalla, Director of the famous “Caracalla” Lebanese Dance Theatre, took place on June 18, 2012.

Goal of the Ambassador’s visit was discussion of organization of joint Ukrainian-Lebanese concert dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment between Ukraineand Lebanon.

Mr. Ivan Caracalla praised organization of such an event and made Ambassador’s acquaintance with Ukrainian dancers, who successfully worked in the “Caracalla” Theatre for long time. Together with permanent Ukrainian artists – graduates of the Dance Academy of Ukraine – two ballet soloists of the National Opera in Kyiv are working in the Theatre during short time period.

Mr. Ivan Caracalla informed with pleasure that the team of Ukrainian artists from the “Caracalla” Theatre would participate in the famous Lebanese arts festival held in the city of Beiteddinin period of June 28 – July 29, 2012.
