The Procedure for entering the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it
The Procedure (posted on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: (http://zakon4.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/367-2015-%D0%BF) regulates the crossing of the administrative border of the free economic zone "Crimea" when entering the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it by citizens of Ukraine, according to the Law of Ukraine "Creation of free economic zone" Crimea "and the peculiarities of economic activity in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine". These demands are also related to foreigners and stateless persons – in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "The rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine".
June 4, 2015 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Resolution № 367 on the Procedure of entering the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it (http://zakon4.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/367-2015-%D0%BF), which regulates, among other things, entering the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it by foreigners and stateless persons - on the basis of the Law of Ukraine "The rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine."
Among other things, the Procedure provides the entry of foreigners and stateless persons on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it. It is carried out through checkpoints by passport documents and special permits issued by the territorial body of the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
Checkpoints list mentioned in Annex 1 to the Procedure. In case of violation the procedure of entering the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it, persons will be brought to responsibility.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stresses the need of respect of the current procedures of visiting the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol City.
