Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon Mr. Volodymyr Koval received in the premises of the Ukrainian Diplomatic Mission the delegation of the Lebanese Orthodox Council headed by its President Mr. Robert Abiad.
During the meeting the Sides exchanged views on the political and sectarian situation in Lebanon, current problems and challenges for the Christian Community in the Middle East.
The ways of expanding ties between Ukrainian and Lebanese Orthodox Churches were discussed as well.
