Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon Mr. Volodymyr Koval met with the President of the Higher National Conservatory of Music of Lebanon Mr. Hanna El Amil.
The organization of the classical music concert in Beirut during the year 2014 on the occasion of 200 Anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth involving Lebanon’s State Symphonic Orchestra and the soloists from Ukraine was in the focus of the discussion.
The Sides as well considered the prospects of establishing cooperation between the National Higher Conservatory of Music of Lebanon and one of Ukrainian conservatories.
The issue of the participation of the Lebanese Conservatory in the Days of Culture of Lebanon in Ukraine in 2014 was discussed.
