Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon Volodymyr Koval met with the Ambassador of Tunisia to Lebanon Hatem Essaiem in the premises of Ukrainian Embassy.
Situation in Lebanon and the prospects of overcoming the present political standoff were discussed. The Sides also exchanged views on the regional developments and the impact of the Syrian conflict on the security situation in Lebanon.
The Heads of Missions informed each other on the domestic situation in Ukraine and Tunisia and reaffirmed traditionally friendly relations between the two States.
