Ambassador Volodymyr Koval meat with the Lebanese Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel. The issue of the rights of the Ukrainian nationals was on top of the discussion during the meeting. In this regard Volodymyr Koval expressed gratitude to Marwan Charbel for the assistance given by his Ministry during the evacuation of the Ukrainian nationals from torn by was Syria via the Lebanese territory.

The Sides also agreed to make steps aimed at intensification of bilateral cooperation between the Interior Ministries of both countries as well as to accelerate the consideration of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Readmission.
